Boston College's victory over Loyola Maryland was one part of the nationwide "Jesuit Basketball Spotlight". The purpose of this is to generate awareness about Jesuit Education by using basketball. Over 90 games will be played this year between Jesuit colleges men's and women's basketball teams. Boston College Men's Basketball also plays Jesuit colleges Saint Louis and San Francisco, while the BC Women's Basketball team plays Holy Cross. This is a nice way to promote Jesuit Education among the 28 Jesuit colleges.
