Boston College Coaching Situation

ESPN is reporting that Jeff Jagodzinski will be fired if he interviews with the New York Jets on Monday. According to sources, Jagodzinski plans on going to the interview, in which case AD Gene DeFilippo will be forced to fire Jags, and the replacement will likely be current Offensive Coordinator Steve Logan. At this point it appears that Jagodzinski's breif tenure as head coach at Boston College is through.

There is much speculation that DeFilippo is upset with how Jagodzinski handled the situation, and does not want to deal with the possibility of the head coach leaving every year (Tom O'Brien situation). I'm sure much more news will break tomorrow so stay tuned.
