Jeff Jagodzinski | Updated Monday Night

The word on the message boards is that Jagodzinski has been looking to get out of college coaching. Apparently he does not like recruiting and wanted out of college. This may have been a factor behind BC missing out on several notable recruits this season. If this is the case this is a huge turnaround in just two years. When he was hired he seemed like a perfect fit for college coaching; a young, fiery, passionate guy with a great personality and coaching background. He looked like he had the making of a great recruiter, but unfortunately this was not the case. I still don't think this was the best way to handle this whole situation, however, recruiting is such a huge factor in the college game we MUST get a head coach who is willing to go out and recruit top prospects.

BC is looking to promote from within, and the top candidates appear to be Frank Spaziani, Steve Logan, Jack Bicknell Jr., and Bill McGovern. My preference is Spaz. He has 11 years experience on staff on both offense and defense and is a well liked by players. Spaz is also a guy who can go out and recruit as well as call the defense.
