If the team wants to make the next leap and become a consistent winner they must prove they can win the games they are supposed to. The pitching rotation is young, which may be a reason behind the inconsistency.

Boston College Baseball | Mid-Week Update
The BC Baseball team appears to be following the path of the basketball team this season. The team is just 4-3 versus inferior New England teams in mid-week games after losing 5-2 to UMASS in the opening round of the beanpot on Tuesday. The team did bounce back to crush URI 10-0 without Tony Sanchez in the lineup.
