BC Athletics | Weekend Recap

Men's Basketball
Al Skinner and company held on for an 82-77 victory at Providence. Reggie Jackson had 20 points, 12 boards, and 7 assists. Joe Trapani added 19 points and 8 rebounds. Josh Southern scored what proved to be the game winning basketball with a three-point play with 43 seconds left.

Men's Football
The football team capped off its regular season with a 19-17 win against Maryland. Montel Harris carried the ball 41 times for 142 yards. Dave Shinskie threw for 227 yards including a 66-yard catch and run by Colin Larmond. Steve Aponavicus was 4-5 on the day including a career long 42-yarder. BC finishes the regular season with an 8-4 record.

Men's Soccer
The Eagles squandered a 2-0 lead to fall to Drake in the Sweet Sixteen 6-4. BC finished the year 14-9.

Men's Hockey
BC beat Clarkson 6-5 on Friday night. BC had 4 power play goals and a balanced scoring attack (12 different players had points in the game). Senior Carl Sneep scored the eventual game winner.

Women's Soccer
The women's team lost to #1 Stanford 3-1 in the Elite Eight round. BC finishes the year with an impressive 18-4-2 record.

Women's Basketball
BC won the Hoops for Cure Tournament in Dallas, Tx with a 69-68 win over SMU. Senior Mickel Picco led the way with 25 points.
