Heslip has been described as a "lights-out" shooter with great range. He will be able to come in and learn the system while practicing with the team.

BC basketball recruit Brady Heslip to enroll early
According to Jeff Goodman, Brady Heslip will be joining the team for the spring semester. I doubt that he will be playing but his presence will certainly help boost the guard play which Coach Skinner has criticized recently.

This is good I guess. I feel like playing games at New Hampton against top tier competition would be just as good as Power Gym practices for him, but certainly this will help him get a feel for the speed of ACC basketball, help him learn the flex early, and get him acclimated to BC coursework (New Hampton isn't exactly Phillips Academy in terms of academia).
